Tannhäuser Gate (Coursework)

Multi-Media composition (Charcoal, Pen, Polypropylene, Bristol Board) for 2-Dimensional Design coursework. Students were instructed to make use of several materials to create an illustration that reflected the mood/message of a personally selected quote. Charcoal was used for atmospheric elements, pen strokes illustrate crumbling structure, and satin polypropylene sheeting for glittering rectangular forms.

Blade Runner (1982):

“I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.”
