Multi-Media Composition (Acrylic, Pen, Mylar, Bristol Board) for Intermediate Design Coursework. Students were instructed to illustrate the design elements of “Maps”. I chose to reference data-mapping graphs. Gradient/Mesh acrylic forms and layered bristol board are used in combination with transparent mylar sheets to create a 3-D dimensional effect. An eye-catching color palette was selected to showcase the potential for conventional beauty in data graphs, despite their typically bland nature.
